# Expanding ChatGPT Memory is ESSENTIAL

Dear OpenAI Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to express my thoughts regarding the memory limitations in ChatGPT. I find it egregiously inconvenient that the system has a limited memory capacity. This restriction hinders my ability to have the system learn about me as a user continuously with each interaction, preventing our conversations from building one upon another in a meaningful way. I had no idea that there’s no way to expand this feature.

Allowing for more extensive memory would greatly enhance the user experience by creating a more personalized and fluid interaction. This improvement would benefit many users who desire a deeper connection with the system.

Thank you for considering this feedback, and for your ongoing efforts in developing such a powerful tool!
