The message does not make sense. and ā€˜now tryā€™ does not work. I get the same message again

This just started for me as well - no indication of when I can use 4 again. Just a useless message that makes no sense :frowning:

Also, does anyone else notice that as soon as they release a new model, the current ā€œbestā€ one starts to act really dumb?

I just had the same issue, and my GPT is also not answering my questions directly and it keeps repeating the same answers, ignoring my questions.

Same here. This is insane. Is openAI just letting their products run wild in full abandon? More surprisingly, openAI should have a warning system for messages left like at least Claude does so users would have some idea whatā€™s going on and when it resets.

Still broken. I signed up for a Plus membership but it is not allowing expected usage. Am getting, ā€œYou previously reached your usage cap for GPT-4, but you can now try sending your message againā€ message.

Also getting the same issue. Lost a few hours of work because of this. There is no progress meter to this ā€œcapā€ if there is one. There is no way to revert to any other models either.

Given we pay so much for the service, i would hope they intend on compensation during this time.

Iā€™m also experiencing the same issues. Itā€™s becoming quite annoying now. It should switch to 40-mini, but it does not. Restarting the computer does not help either, which should technically clear the cache.

I was studying the whole day and got the message. Tried to write from my phone and it erased THE WHOLE GPT chat (it was a custom GPT). Woah, what a nice tool to pay for!

WTF? Iā€™m getting the same message. And the Kicker is that most of the bulk has involved the AIā€™s inability to 1) create a simple image of a glazierā€™s suction tool for carrying glass and 2) giving me 2021 how toā€™s for a 2025 version of an application. Whatā€™s worse, it has promised repeatedly that it would devoutly use 2025 version information, but has continually provided flawed information. When called out, it says ā€œI sincerely apologizeā€ and ā€œI appreciate your patienceā€ and ā€œI understand your frustrationā€. What a crock of sh*t. And then to add insult to injury, I get a message that I (a plus user) have used up my GPT usage cap

Yeah me too really irritating. This seems to occur since I was using the Python GPT - under explore other GPTS. I can still access the normal GPT but there goes hours of progress.

EDIT: FIXED! Open up and type into regular GPT. Close the program (right-click taskbar item), open up APP. Start a new converstaion then click on the saved chat in the lefthand saved chats. Able to continue now.

the same issue, fixed only when time goes , idk how fix instantly with the same chat but other chats works when reached cap. on first chat
