I have a chatgpt historical chat conversation. When I opened it, it showed an error message, “The conversation is too long, please start a new one”. When I tried to delete it, there was no response. I want to know how to delete or deal with it.

That message means the conversation has reached its maximum length and can no longer continue, so you’ll need to start a new chat/session.
When you say you tried to delete it, could you please clarify what exactly you were trying to delete, the conversation itself, a message inside it or something else?
