I was wondering—would it be possible to download entire chats as a PDF or another file format in one go?
I use ChatGPT a lot for school, and I’d love to be able to download some of my conversations to showcase the full process, ensuring transparency.
Is this feature already available, or is there any chance it could be added in the future? I’d love to hear if others are interested in this too! How do you currently save or organize your chats?
it’s simple copy conversation paste it in word or txt file any other file format and after changes you can convert that file into pdf ask chat-gpt itself.
Copying the entire content sometimes causes my laptop to freeze for a few minutes, and the PDFs generated by GPT are generally of low quality. Therefore, it may be beneficial to upgrade these features.
I don’t believe it’s possible unfortunately. I’d be very interested in that as well, but have not yet found a straight forward way of saving/printing more than a single page of the conversation at a time.
its more than one page long, its not a simple text based conversation, and besides, as soon as I export the text, its more work to highlight what is produced by Chatgpt, rather than show it from the chatgpt interface.
Right now I use a combination of converting text and screenshots, but alot of screenshots become, rather messy in my reports.
On iPhone/iPad (updated) you can screenshot with the chat open and you select Full Page so you can save the chats in your Camera Roll forever, and organize them in folders on the app. you can also cut the screenshot to the part you wish to keep archived. It’s very useful. Hope it helps!
