As far as we know, the “custom instructions” feature consumes input tokens, since it simply acts as a pre-included text in all new chats.
I imagine that the “memory” function does a similar thing, referencing those entries at the beginning of all new chats in a hidden way.
But what about this new feature of “remembering” the entire chat history? If it is similar, won’t that consume a significant amount of input tokens in new chats?
