I’m most focussed on voice MCP at the momsnt and I”m finding that the consistency, accuracy and quality of what I’m getting back is very poor.
I thought the whole idea of MCP was that once connected the LLM would be able to talk with other apps without you having to build complicated schemas for every option and the LLM would be able to determine what was needed, use the centralised commands and then do the thing.
What I’m finding is that to get accurate connections using JSON is the best option but wasn’t the whole idea here to avoid this stuff so that when new tools were added we didn’t have to jump back into the code?
I should add I’m mostly focussed on using things like Zapier, ActivePieces and Pipedream for MCP’s so trying to find one server that can handle all of my needs in one go so if anyone is finding better results with dedicated MCP servers for each app then I’d love to hear about it also.
