Does ChatGPT 4 categorize its own responses as a violation of the Usage Policies?

ChatGPT offering me an answer to a question, blocks its own answer, stating that it violates the Usage Policies. It is not able to give a better answer itself, as it says it will correct it, but in fact, it is not able to do so, it seems to be errors in its algorithms. My query was simple, I simply asked him to list several biblical verses that address the issue of the spiritual integrity that a person should have and whether that person should avoid the negative influence of other people. His response flowed, until ChatGPT starts writing to me about James 4:4. There is no way he would tell me this verse, even though it is a verse from the best selling book in history, the Bible. I have not violated any policy, and ChatGPT even though he tries several times to reply, his own reply is blocked by OpenAI. Isn’t this part of human knowledge?

When using ChatGPT the content it outputs is periodically run through both a moderation filter and also a copyright filter. Apparently the Bible is copyrighted :joy:

Your comment is incorrect. Almost all versions of the Bible are in the public domain. The reason ChatGPT didn’t quote James 4:4 is because it says “Oh, adulterous souls…”, which means ChatGPT understood that I was offending someone. However, it was ChatGPT itself that provided me with the quote, and therefore should not have recognized it as an offense since it is not. It is just a passage from a book.

On the other hand, I must tell you that since I posted my comment, OpenAI has removed ChatGPT’s option to quote Bible verses. I ask OpenAI to please restore this functionality, as otherwise it would be marginalizing the Spanish Christian community around the world. Almost all versions of the Bible are in the public domain and allow for appropriate citation, (OpenAI can verify with lawyers). We need the option back to ChatGPT! It is worth noting that no one hides information from the Bible.

The new problem: ChatGPT avoids citing the Bible:
