I’ve followed every direction they have given me and still no explanation as to why I’m getting billed for a free subscription.

A lot of people are confused regarding the free tier of the API, that’s a whole other story.
But if you’re specifically talking about the ChatGPT subscription but there’s nothing in billing, is it possible that you might have multiple accounts? Maybe one with google, one with email or phone?
If I had two accounts wouldn’t there be someplace like billing history or an invoice of something to identify that information. If I could change the credit card that’s being billed it would fix everything, but I can’t find where to do that.
I suppose you’d have to be logged into the correct account.
Is there anything in your emails when you signed up for plus or pro in the past?
I looked back in my emails and nothing. I’ll figure this out, you are kind to provide suggestions.
