It seems that the entire content of the uploaded file is used as instruction, as I noticed a large number of tokens being used, even though I only tested with very simple questions and answers. Is that correct?

Really it should only use the relevant sections of the uploaded file, but you are not the first to report that usage has gone up significantly, hopefully this feedback will cause some changes to be made.
