The desktop application allows for Section creation which makes organization of multiple projects (chats/work) under one category. This dramatically reduces UX visual noise and confusion when navigating an account with a wide breadth of research and information. It is disappointing to have this clarity and organization on Desktop then navigating to Web or Mobile and still being forced to traverse the noise of missing this feature. Please adopt UX uniformity by incorporating and synchronizing Section into Web and Mobile UI.
Update (09/02/2026): Lack of ChatGPT Desktop Application synchronization across devices is also a disappointment. Efforts and time invested into organizing ChatGPT Desktop application utilizing Section(s) should not be missing when a user transitions between a Desktop workstation and their Laptop device. At minimal please synchronize across devices when using the same Desktop application.
