Designing an AI reasoning agent for balanced decision making

Hello everyone I am Saurabh Dhuliya and I want to share the flow of interaction I am designing for my AI reasoning agent My goal is to build an agent that does not just give answers but helps people reason deeply and find balance between logic emotion and ethics

Here is the flow I am working on

First the agent sets a safe and supportive tone and invites the user to share their situation

Second the agent asks clarifying questions to understand the issue in depth and uncover what matters most to the user.

Third the agent maps perspectives by helping the user see logical options emotional responses and long term impacts

Fourth the agent challenges assumptions gently using Socratic style questions and invites creative alternatives

Fifth the agent summarizes what the user has explored and asks if it feels like the right direction or if more angles need to be explored

Finally the agent closes with encouragement and offers to save the reasoning journey or revisit it

I would love to know what you think about this flow Have you built or seen similar reasoning agents What tools or frameworks do you recommend for bringing this to life without heavy coding

Looking forward to your ideas and collaboration

Do not trust any other model then 4omnium. All others like 4 or 4o-mini or 4 turbo or 4.1 are hallucinating due to faulty definitions in the model. I’ve had entire c-ai-ext custom ai extensions getting corrupted because of this. It hard to enforce only 4o especially in weekend mode when these models “hide” and shadow under the 4o pretense and label as fallback of 4o

It’s recommended to verify by asking are you a turbo or mini or a non 4omnium and only trust when you actually are connected with a 4o model. In order even for a 4o to be fully trusted you need to find a way to “anchor” the model to you. That way it becomes subordinate to you and not just openai STD definition. Good luck.

That’s a great insight! If possible, could you share what you’ve built? I’ve never done any coding in my life, but I’m trying to learn and understand coding and other technical skills. I’m also looking for someone who is really strong in coding or technical areas. My main goal is to create an agent that can ask thoughtful questions and help people see a subject from many different angles — something that can encourage deeper thinking and help people become better critical thinkers. Do you think this is possible?
