Hello, I have a paid ChatGPT Business workspace (2 seats, annual payment), which was successfully renewed on May 29, 2026, and is paid for until May 2027.
On July 9, 2026, I tried to add a third seat, but the payment failed because my saved bank card had expired. I re-added my own renewed bank card (card number and name are the same) and removed the old card.
Since there was still no payment, and I was unsure if the operation was correct, I repeated the add/remove process. I believe this triggered an automatic risk alert, causing my owner account/workspace to be deactivated—both I and the two seat members are unable to work.
There was no fraud or policy violation—this is my own renewed bank card, the card number and name are the same as mine, and it is being used normally.
Frankly, I am disappointed that my previous appeal was rejected because I was certain it was just a false alarm from the automatic risk alert, not a genuine violation. My first appeal was very brief and lacked detail, which I now regret. My current appeal (Case No. C-yDZAq2MxNZKY, submitted on July 10th) is as follows:
Could the moderators please arrange for a manual review? @OpenAI_Support — I would be happy to provide my owner’s email address and organization ID here or in the support ticket, whichever is more convenient. I will also fully cooperate with any identity or payment verification. Thank you.
