This is regarding a very important aspect about reading files from Knowledge section. I built a custom GPT using 5.1 model in which I uploaded a specific Master dataset excel sheet which has a bunch of information regarding different projects. Earlier before 5.1, the prompt when asked to list all the projects and contents regarding those projects was made, it would accurately generate the data from the dataset. But with 5.1, it can’t read the dataset at all. It says it can see the file but can’t read because of the new strict dataset policy which restricts it to pull data from knowledge files and will only use their metadata. It forces me to upload the dataset excel sheet to current chat to get work done. Considering this a custom GPT being built for the team, it defeats the purpose of giving access to the dataset to everyone and then everyone has to upload it every time new chat is launched.
How do I get my earlier behavior back of GPT being able to understand and interpret the files in the Knowledge part of the GPT?
