As a regular user of ChatGPT, I often discuss various topics—such as technology, sports, and personal productivity—across multiple chats. Over time, the chat history in the sidebar becomes long and hard to navigate.
I’d like to suggest a feature where users can manually create categories or folders in the sidebar to organize their past conversations. For example, I could have a folder called “Tech”, another one called “Fitness”, etc., and then drag or assign chats to each folder.
Alternatively, tagging or labeling chats with custom colors or keywords would also help.
This would greatly improve usability for users who use ChatGPT across many topics and want to quickly revisit previous discussions.
