Could not find user for provided token

I don’t know what to put this under, whether it’s a bug, or an api problem, but heyho.
Basically, I went onto my ChatGPT mobile app this morning (I have an iPhone 15 pro max if that information is needed) and when I tried to message AI, I received an orange error code that wrote “Could not find user for provided token.” I was incredibly confused so I tried to edit my message a few times, and then I messaged in another AI chat just to receive the same code, so I decided that the best thing to do would be to sign out of my ChatGPT and sign back in again, however, when I tried to sign in again, I received an error code saying “Sign in failed” “Could not find user for provided token” so I tried to sign in a few more times but it didn’t work, so I deleted my ChatGPT app to reinstall it, and I just received the same sign in error, until I logged into my account through openai. I was then able to log back into my account on the ChatGPT app, send one message before the error code came back up again in chat. What do I do?

hopefully its just a bug that will be fixed soon then if it’s happening to a couple of people

Happening here too, assuming they had a serious issue they needed to turn off user auth for. Hope it gets patched soon.

I hope so too! I was JUST using it a few minutes ago, before my whole history of chats were “unable to load” and I got the orange error message.

I have ChatGPT plus and yet this issue continues on, I really hope they fix this ASAP as this is seemingly a serious issue on ChatGPT developments part or whatever

According to status.openai.com there are issues with the log-in.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon!

Ive only gotten this issue today. Was it resolved for you?

I have got this issue consistently since this morning. All of my devides dont work at all. Even using chrome to log in to chatgpt does not work.

Same here. Only on iPad, though, not on iPhone. That’s odd.
