I’ve noticed that copying formatted text data has weird glitches. When I click the copy “icon” on the canvas, it copies everything, but has all these strange formatting issues when I then paste the text into a Microsoft Word document. However, if I manually highlight all of the text in the canvas I want to copy, then just press copy (command-C), when I paste that is MS Word, all of the formatting looks correct and identical to the canvas. What gives? Why can’t this be fixed?

The combination ctrl-shift-v may work when you paste in Word.

I have tried this and it makes no difference. The only way for the formatting to carry over is if I selected all the text in the document with my mouse and hit copy. Hitting the “copy” button created all sorts of #, * and - in the formatting that should be spaces and underlines, etc.
