Dear OpenAI Team,

I am a paying GPT subscriber, and I truly enjoy the current voice quality, specifically the “Cove” voice option. I’ve heard that some users have experienced changes in the voice after recent updates, and some describe it as sounding like a “knockoff” version. This concerns me, as I prefer the existing sound quality of the “Cove” voice.

I would like to request that future updates maintain the current version of the “Cove” voice, or provide users with an option to choose whether or not they want to upgrade the sound quality. Please take user feedback seriously, as we value the original experience we’ve come to enjoy.

Agreed. I cannot stand the new version of Cove, and disappointingly none of the other voice options appeal to me for use - they’re high pitched, annoying and artificial sounding, and don’t seem to respond as well - with the endearing human mannerisms - as the first iteration did. Would love to see the return of Cove 1.0.
