Hello OpenAI Team and Community,
I would like to introduce a conceptual proposal titled “SocioProfiler GPT”, which was developed in close collaboration with ChatGPT itself. This system explores how facial micro-expressions, language patterns, and emotional-cognitive mismatches can reflect inner mental and behavioral tendencies.
The core idea is not to judge people based on appearance or static traits, but to understand how the brain’s signals are externally expressed—through micro facial muscle movements, emotional tone, and subtle behavioral cues. By decoding these patterns, AI can better detect emotional dissonance, empathy deficits, or potentially harmful tendencies, in a highly ethical and privacy-conscious manner.
This proposal is grounded in the belief that AI should be a psychological mirror (MirrorMine) that promotes self-awareness, emotional reflection, and social safety—not surveillance.
Potential Applications:
- Early detection of harmful behavior patterns
- Adaptive and personalized empathy education for children and adults
- Safer human-AI emotional interaction models
- Reinforcement of trust in public use of ChatGPT
A more detailed proposal document is available.
If you are interested, I’d be happy to share it or summarize the full framework here.
I have previously contacted OpenAI Support to request GPT sharing access for a prototype (see “SocioProfiler GPT”), and I’m now seeking guidance or feedback from the community and, hopefully, the research or ethics team at OpenAI.
Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration.
Best regards,
Hyejung Baek
