In Companion Window mode, hitting ‘Enter’ inserts a newline instead of sending the message, it acts as if you are holding shift key. On the main desktop app, this does not occur.
To send an input , I must:
- Type message
- Press Tab to focus Send button
- Press Enter

- Windows desktop app
- Version 1.2026.119

Thanks for reporting this - it sounds like the Companion Window is handling the Enter key differently from the main desktop app.

- Does this happen in every chat or only specific conversations?
- Does restarting the desktop app change the behavior?
