Codex with agents is consuming a massive amount of credits: 20,000+ credits and the entire weekly limit in a single day; without agents, it lasted the whole month.

They added very little in terms of productivity, and I’m highly skeptical. Yesterday, before the latest patch, it seems they were consuming credits even while idle and waiting for tasks (!)

For now, I don’t recommend using agents at all. Hopefully this improves.

Hey @andreichiro, are you still facing issues with excessive credit consumption when using Codex agents?
