1/ I quite happily went from Plus to Pro 5x (although Plus had usage sneakily lowered BEFORE the end of the 2x promo)
2/ After having usage halved this week I upgraded from Pro 5x to Pro 20x (i know it won’t ever come back, stop gaslighting us, half the user base is screaming).
You know that people actually use your product and can feel massive changes. If you want to do that, be smarter about it.
For the longest, the exact reason I stuck to Codex, defended it, actively promoted it, bringing in about a dozen of users, was because of the transparency and honesty. I can confidently say that Codex has now gone full “Anthropic-style”
3/ Until pretty recently, Codex App was marvelous. Now I got bugs EVERYWHERE, did a full reinstall and still have :
- Sidebar projects collapsibles have scrollbars, even when collapsed.
- Settings search straight up doesn’t work.
- Remote instances just popping randomly.
- Codex mobile getting more unstable by the day.
- Half the updates fail (closes app, nothing happens).
4/ No reset for me yesterday, go figure why.
This is getting a tiny bit tiring.
