I open-sourced a small project called codex-last-prompt-footer and would like more people to try it and build on it with me.
I often run Codex in parallel across multiple tasks, and I kept forgetting what I had just asked in each session, so I made this to keep the latest prompt visible in the footer. It adds a last-prompt item to Codex, and you can enable it directly
through /statusline.
If you try it and notice rough edges, missing features, or better ways to approach it, please let me know. Feedback, issues, and contributions are all welcome. I’d be happy if other people helped improve it together.
