Hey - I’m using Codex Desktop within a Business account, running on MacOS.
This week, our account ran out of plan-provided/built-in credits. We purchased a credit top up for $200 and Codex remains functional for my user - I can continue existing threads and create new ones. However, the app continuously shows “model at capacity’` and “0% left” banners (even though nothing in the UI is actually disabled).
This is probably more of a UI bug, but still a noticeable annoyance in such a great product
thanks for everything you did with it!
Hey @talbronfer, yeah, that’s definitely confusing. If you’ve topped up credits and everything is still working, seeing “0% left” and “model at capacity” banners shouldn’t be happening.
A couple quick things to check first:
- On the billing page, do you see the $200 credit top-up fully applied to the org balance?
- If you fully quit and relaunch Codex Desktop (or log out/in), does the banner clear?
- Are other users in the same Business workspace seeing the same 0% banner, or just you?
If usage is functioning normally but the UI is stuck showing 0%, that does sound like a display sync issue between the app and the billing/usage backend.
Appreciate you flagging it, and glad to hear you’re enjoying the product overall 🙂
Let me know what you see after a restart.
