I am observing Codex Desktop app frequently crashing and getting stuck since couple of days. Any body facing this issue? I observed crash VS Code Plugin as well.
Could you share your Windows version, Codex desktop app version, VS Code version, Codex plugin version, and any error logs so others can compare the crashes?
I experienced extension crash in VS Code on my Ubuntu.
Starting VS Code with code --disable-gpu --new-window fixes the issue. I’m using Ubuntu with an NVIDIA GPU.
The same command should work for Windows too.
I do not use WSL 2 or WSL 1 with Codex, I use Windows 11 native.

Today as well i faced frequent crash in VS code, not sure if this is my machine or something wrong with codex plugin/app. I don’t have any logs as such, its just getting crashed and need to restart everytime.
There is a major GPT outage currently affecting both ChatGPT and Codex.
