In the Codex desktop app, when I switch the UI language away from English, English slash commands such as /plan no longer work. The command seems to require the localized command name instead. **Expected behavior:** Stable command IDs like /plan, /status, and /review should keep working in every UI language, while the visible labels can be translated. **Why this matters:** The official docs, shared tips, and user muscle memory often use English slash commands. If the UI language changes the accepted command aliases, commands become harder to discover and support across locales. Please consider supporting English slash-command aliases regardless of UI language. ---

Thanks for flagging this. The docs use English command names, so we understand why they should work consistently across UI languages: https://learn.chatgpt.com/docs/reference/slash-commands. We’ll pass along the alias request. We haven’t confirmed a fix or timeline yet. ---
