ChatGPT Unaccessible after attempted downgrade

I attempted to downgrade from Teams to Pro. I found a tutorial that told me to cancel Teams and then I can sign up for Pro. CGPT worked for the rest of that day (Friday). Today(Monday) i try to access CGPT and keep getting “Failed to get your settings”. I’ve tried multiple browsers, devices, checking network connections and all of the other recommended steps. Still no luck.

Any help?

Its the same for me, today the team suscription ended, I wanted to upgrade to Pro but I cant. I’m facing the same “Failed to get your settings” error

To follow up, I had to reach out to support via the chat box on the support site. After all of the other basic troubleshooting tactics, here’s what I had to provide:

Hello,

Thank you for reaching back to OpenAI Support.

We truly appreciate you for sharing the screenshots of the issue that you’re having. It is quite unusual that there’s no option to upgrade knowing that you were able to access your account. Rest assured, we’ll do our best to assist you.

We can clearly see an error message about “Failed to get your settings.” To troubleshoot this further, would you mind reproducing the issue, then send us a screen recording and share a HAR file? The URL of the page (not the share URL) will also help us investigate this further. It would also be helpful if you could outline any steps you’ve already taken to troubleshoot or resolve the issue on your end.

To download a HAR file:

  1. Open Developer Tools You can do this by right-clicking on the webpage and selecting “Inspect”, or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+I (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Opt+I (Mac).

  2. Head over to the Network Tab Once the developer tools are open, click on the “Network” tab.

  3. Check the “Preserve log” box

  4. Click the crossed circle button to clear any existing logs from the network tab

  5. Refresh the webpage Doing this will allow us to capture the network requests.

  6. Reproduce the issue while the network requests are recorded

  7. Click the download button, Export HAR, to download, and save the file to your computer: Save as HAR with Content.

  8. [Important] HAR files might include personal or other sensitive data. You use a tool like Cloudflare’s HAR sanitizer to remove any personal information before sharing.

I woke up this morning and i was able to access the reactivate option from the menu. Once i processed the payment, my workspace was restored. No response from them on what they did, but it’s working.
