Found a thread from July 2023 on this same topic, but no fix was ever offered, and the problem STILL persists into the final days of Dec 2024.
I can use it on my phone with the app with no issues, but not on my computer. But I need to use it on my computer! Trying to do work arounds to use it on my phone is so obnoxious- I’m literally emailing myself things so I can copy and paste it into the app, then copy and repaste into my email and send it back to myself just to get it back on my computer. 
I’ve tried all of the “fixes” suggested by google, the FAQ forum, etc, but nothing works. Different browsers, clearing cache and data, downloading the plug-in/app to my computer, changing location, using phone hotspot, NOTHING makes it work on my computer. I love chatgpt, but this is seriously the worst to try and work with anymore.
PLEASE tell me there’s an actual fix for this, and that I’m not the only one dealing with it!
