ChatGPT regression and lack of escalation path — requires human review

The chatGPT website was allowing pasting of text into a conversation that all of a sudden then stopped allowing.

I have sent several emails to support with no human response!

It’s not that your posts is not a valid product feedback post, it’s that this is the wrong place for ChatGPT issues.

You are much better of reporting issues to help.openai.com and using the icon in the bottom right or support@openai.com as this forum is not monitored by the ChatGPT team.

This forum is specifically for developers and those making use of the OpenAI API’s and related services.

I appreciate the clarification, but I think there’s been a misunderstanding.

I’m actually a developer and paying ChatGPT Plus subscriber. I was directed here by ChatGPT itself after reporting repeated product issues, since help.openai.com doesn’t allow me to open a ticket — it just loops through help articles with no way to reach a real support rep.

My intent wasn’t just to vent, but to raise visibility about a core usability problem that affects developers evaluating OpenAI products for integration into customer-facing software.

I’ve been considering OpenAI APIs for commercial projects, but honestly, the lack of basic support responsiveness and clear escalation paths is giving me pause. I’d appreciate if someone from the product or support team could at least confirm whether direct contact for paying users still exists, or if it’s all self-service now.
