ChatGPT Projects: no ability to disable internal tools

Feature request - tool selection in ChatGPT projects.

This is logical, to appear alongside instructions

There is a whole bunch of distraction to any purposeful AI made in projects by instructions.

The entire set of ChatGPT tools are placed. There is no method to customize what tools are enabled for the AI.

These are all the tools available, both enabled and disabled.

  • Custom instructions in ChatGPT customizations can disable tools
  • GPTs can disable tools
  • Projects cannot affect the tools

Projects perform poorly because of this huge text dump irrelevant to the specialization or task. I avoid projects outright due to this.
