Hi OpenAI team and Developer Community!
I would like to propose introducing a Presenter Mode in ChatGPT for situations where users share their screen while presenting or demonstrating ChatGPT to an audience.
When enabled, Presenter Mode would provide a clean presentation interface where the audience can only see the active conversation or content being presented, while the presenter retains private access to their chat history.
Potential functionality
- Hide the chat-history sidebar and previous conversations from the audience.
- Allow the presenter to continue accessing their chat history without exposing it on the shared screen.
- Provide a distraction-free interface optimized for presentations and demonstrations.
- Prevent accidental exposure of private or unrelated conversations when navigating ChatGPT during a presentation.
This could be particularly valuable for classroom instruction, professional presentations, client demonstrations, workshops, and live AI demonstrations.
A Presenter Mode would provide an additional layer of privacy and control when using ChatGPT in front of an audience, while making the platform more suitable for presentation and educational use cases.
I believe this would be a relatively simple but valuable addition for users who regularly demonstrate ChatGPT to others.
Best regards,
Suryanshu
