Same here. Impossible to use in any normal way. A pain in the ass, completely insane
I’m now getting the same, since upgrading to GPT5 it hangs alot.
To be fair, I have been asking it to produce images and STL files, which is quite intensive. But it also happens with general tasks without the large image files being transferred.
My work around is to keep the browser tab with the prompt open despite it having the warning sign that it’s hanging and essentially being frozen. Then opening GPT in another tab after a little while and clicking on the same ‘chat’ from the menu. Normally its finished but just made the browser hang.
Its a wonky way to work through and its really affecting my work flow.
I’m going to start exploring other AI options if this persists.
This is complete BS. I’m trying to write a resume and PAYING for Plus and all it does is hang and give me “code hung” errors if any at all. It just sits there. Chatgpt is heading for class action suit for not delivering as promised yet charging customers for zero service. I’m sick of this crap.
