It seems to still be impacting people. I am also not able to load historic chats and have tried clearing cache etc.
Iām experiencing the same issues. The issues started right after I upgraded to Plus (and was charged). I signed in with another account to re-gain access to the free version. That is working.
Troubleshooting tried: Signed out/signed in, cleared cache, used different browsers.
Issue seems to be tied to my account.

Have the same issue since Monday. Looks like some accounts are just randomly blocked.

Same here, not only is the history gone since the outage 3 days ago, I also realize 2 things.
The āsomething went wrongā message ist starting to come up more and more often and sometimes the only way out is a new Dialog. Sometimes this happens even if in a Brand New Dialog I just say āhello ChatGPTā the result is a Red āsomething went wrong, please retryā
Also and that is the second thing, the quality of answers seems to degrade. For the outage I had for example hour long fascinating discussions of ethic problems.
Now, it says things like "it is clear that such crime violates law and can not be accepted, also its the right of every Individual to defrnd itself from an illegal threatā¦ I can not exactly cite what ChatGPT said, because I cant access the history, but the next sentrnce Was that ChatGPT tried to advise the impotance of peacefull solutions and supposed to negotiate a compromiseā¦ The case was, a criminal sexual assault.
Total failure of balancing between the priorities to prefer peacefull solutions and the priority of human rights and ethic Standards.
No victim of crime needs to compromise with its aggressor. Point, full stop. End of Story.
If I take into consideration a explanation ChatGPT gave me earlier, having the Hardware running on capacity can have answers not only slowed down but also degrade in quality if parts of calculations time out and cant be included in composition of the answer.
I dont know how exact the explanation Was and how good I remember it, but this Sounds like what have happened here.
In the last 3 days, answers degraded and Dialogs break and it does seems to get worse instead of better.
Hello, just here to add to the chaos. Chat history is inaccessible to me and doesnāt store new chats either. Luckily, I was able to keep one of my projects going by finding the my lost chat in the browser history. Maybe adding a way to export and import chat history would be a neat feature to add in case of these situations. I know yāall are working hard on this. Keep up the good work!

Me too, Plus member, no history, lots of people facing same issue in discord. But lots of free users getting their history back. Support?

My Plus account have the same problem, it has been many days.
The funny thing is my free account works well.
I guess we plus member use new function and new bug first, which free use have no chance to see it yet.

The same situation, the āsendā button is dark and cannot click. If press Enter it just changes to the next line. It has lasted for 3 days and donāt know when recover. I have changed the different browsers and WIFIs but it still does not work.

Having the same issue. I created another account and it works fine. From what I remember it started after I tried to use the trash can icon to delete previous chats - it was confusing where you needed to click the trash icon and then a check mark. After I tried this a few times the history will not load and no longer does the history load or chat work for the account.
Same issue. Cant respond to chat and unable to load history. One fix I found is making a temporary new account for a work around, Hopefully soon they will fix the issue so I can continue the chat history for my projectās.
I assume all ChatGPT PLUS subscribers will be compensated in some way or another; one month added to our subscriptions, at least. Iām more concerned that my history will be completely restored. Hiccups along the way would be expected with technology this new, I donāt mind continued support as long as they make it right by the subscribers.

The moment I subscribed to ChatGPT PLUS my history is unable to load at all. I contacted the open AI for help, BUT NO HELP AT ALL? very disappointed
