ChatGPT not loading history and cant ask questions

Just to keep the thread going. It’s been another day I can’t use what I paid for with zero communication from the ‘provider’ on the issue. 5 days…

Subscription cancelled…


The one convo i was able to keep is now too long i guess lol

…except the ‘provider’ has communicated the problem as recently as yesterday, it’s just that it hasn’t been completely resolved yet. I’m anxious too to get back into my ChatGPT PLUS account once it has been properly secured, but I know canceling my subscription won’t expedite the fix. Especially when I expect subscribers to be fully compensated for this outage of service.

March 20 ChatGPT Outage

I tried clearing my history (arrrg) but that still did not get upgraded to Plus. It just gives me an error.
I can use regular chatGPT now but I was already able to do that before I cleared my conversation history. So if your only problem is the upgrade, clearing your conversations does not appear to help.

I am a Plus subscriber that logs in with my Google account. I have not had access to my history for nearly a week, and no new conversations are showing in history.
Is there a timeline for this repair?
Is there a way to log in without Google, and would that solve the issue?

I do expect that there will be some kind of compensation for this loss.

I suppose they are so busy with all the developments that this issue, which probably affects only a small percentage of millions of users, is not going to be fixed any time soon. I’ve seen screenshots from others that has a message claiming that “the history is restored for all users now”. Chances are, they don’t even know about our problem, and the messages to support are buried too deep. I’ll simply cancel the subscription, create another account, and buy another subscription there. This account just “broke”.

If this works please let me know i dont mind starting a new account i just dont want to do it and then my story i was working on for 4 days is gone

That would be my concern. Seems to me that all history would be lost and irretrievable by canceling the PLUS subscription, and my history is my greatest concern. Going forward, I hope they develop a way to easily download your entire history, like in a zip file (…I actually had that dream last night; where I saw that option available on the ChatGPT dashboard).

Same here!!! I can’t retrieve my History AGAIN since yersterday. Paid costumer. And the price translates to a high price here in Brazil. Too much for these things to happen! Come on.

Just use superpower Chatgpt plugin, it allows you to save all histories etc, I am starting to use that just in case

Problem solved for me… Seems like conversations history works fine, send button also.

Same as most people - no previous history, not saving new chats. ChatGPT Plus subscriber. While Sam Altman waxes poetic about plugins, we’re here with lost functionality and usabilty.

Not working for me as well. I have tried to contact through live chat, email, and discord, with no help.

7th days without history, im plus member. C’mon ;(

This is a good plug in- but it won’t retrieve histories directly from ChatGPT (for those of us here without historic conversations anymore)

It will save new chats but only on your local computer. So, if you switch between computers (work and home. for example), the plugin won’t push a conversation from one computer to the other.
