Lately when I use chatgpt on safari, the moment I type my first character in the message box the message is followed up by a newline that separates my cursor from my first character. This happens only in the safari browser, and not on the chrome browser on my mac. This happens whether or not I am logged in, and whether or not my browser is in private mode. I’m on Version 15.0.1 (24A348). Another user also experienced this on versions 14 and 13, only when they use the built-in keyboard; when typing a character on a third-party keyboard, there is no issue.
Steps to reproduce:
- go to the chatgpt website.
- type a letter in the message box
Expected behavior: no new line is created after the first character.
Actual behavior: a new line is created.
