I’m a veterinarian and yesterday I sent a radiograph of a pregnant cat that was panting. I asked ChatGPT whether there was a diaphragmatic hernia, and it said there wasn’t. Today the cat gave birth safely and is doing great.
Another vet had previously seen the same X-ray and strongly recommended surgery for a supposed hernia. If I hadn’t double-checked with ChatGPT, this cat would have gone through an unnecessary operation.
Huge thanks to the team at OpenAI for building something this useful and trustworthy. You’ve truly made a difference—for me and for this little life.
Thank you!
