ChatGPT Duo Plan for Couples

Hello OpenAI team,

I would like to suggest a new subscription option: ChatGPT Duo.

My wife and I both enjoy using ChatGPT, but paying for two separate subscriptions is difficult to justify. We currently share one account, but this means our conversations, memories, and preferences are mixed together.

A Duo plan would be a great solution.

It could include:

  • One shared subscription at a lower price than two individual plans.
  • Two separate accounts.
  • Separate chat history, memory, settings, and custom GPTs for each person.
  • Optional shared conversations or projects if desired.

Many digital services already offer Duo plans for couples, and I believe ChatGPT would benefit from offering something similar.

I would happily subscribe to a ChatGPT Duo plan if it were available.

Hey @Gyromite, welcome to the community! This is a thoughtful suggestion, and the use case makes sense.

A Duo plan could help couples or households avoid sharing one account while still keeping each person’s chats, memory, settings, and GPTs separate. I can see how that would be cleaner than mixing two people’s preferences and conversation history in one account.

I can’t share a timeline or comment on future subscription plans, but I’ll pass this feedback along internally.
