What if ChatGPT could help us find not only the right answers, but the right people?
Over time, through natural conversations, ChatGPT can develop an understanding of a user’s personality, communication style, interests, values and preferences.
Imagine an optional, consent-based “Connections” feature where users can choose to let ChatGPT use this understanding to identify people they may genuinely connect with, among other users who have also opted in.
Unlike traditional platforms, there would be no profile to build and no personality questionnaire to complete. The compatibility comes from the understanding naturally developed through everyday conversations with AI.
ChatGPT could simply say:
“I think there’s someone you might genuinely connect with. They’re also open to new connections. Interested?”
Only if both users agree would an introduction happen, without ever sharing their private conversations.
This could help create friendships, meaningful personal connections, or connect people who simply “click.”
ChatGPT already helps us find the right information. Maybe one day, it could help us find the right people too.
