ChatGPT Apps on iOS app does not support "Named Mention" invocation [in Dev mode]

The current published apps can be invoked through “Named Mention” method - where you start the prompt by the name of the app, e.g. “Booking.com show me few hotels in nyc for new years eve”

The “Named mention” of published Apps works as expected on both web and iOS app. However, “Named mention” invocation method does not work on iOS for apps under development. In summary:

  • [On desktop] “AppUnderDev do this” → Invoke AppUnderDev and call tools
  • [On iOS app] “AppUnderDev do this” → Does not invoke AppUnderDev

This used to work two weeks ago, so it seems to be. abug with recent developments.

Same behavior here.
Named mention works fine for published apps, but apps in Dev Mode don’t get invoked on iOS.
Web client still works.
Looks like a regression from a recent iOS app update — hoping for a fix soon.
