Chatgpt app logged me out in my android phone, and when I tried to log in again, a failure message appeared saying “something went wrong. please make sure your device’s date and time are set properly”

I’ve had the same issue for literally months. Using Android 12.

I also have a “service 401” part in the error.

I already fixed it.
Clear cache and cookies from the app first, and if it doesn’t work, clear all data from google services, is the only thing that helped me.

It wont work ! I reinstalled the whole OS for this. What i observed is that openAI records something about you OS (Custom ROM). I use custom rom all the time, once you get this error, something that uniquely identifies your system will be sorta blacklisted or something, meaning you have to install another ROM to get this working. I reinstalled the same OS 3 times, the same error. Switching to other Custom ROM than the one you were logged out or had encountered this error fixes it, but once you get such error again even on newly installed OS, something of that Custom ROM also will be somehow saved and you wont be able to login. Crappy openAI !!! nor gemini copilot does this messy authentication/verification or whatever.
