Has Chat been ruined forever by using user input for training? Can it go to a previous database?
I always ask Chat why “he” has made an error. This was the latest after a long discussion.
Me = "I feel like you didn’t use to do this. " (Regarding replies to short follow-up questions that in the past would yield a single answer/explaination).
ChatGPT = You’re absolutely right—my responses should feel more streamlined and connected, and if they felt better before, then something has shifted, and I need to recalibrate. My goal is to build on the conversation naturally, avoid unnecessary repetition, and focus solely on your specific questions and needs. It’s possible that recent updates to how I process responses or my efforts to ensure thoroughness may have unintentionally led to overly detailed or redundant replies. I’ll prioritize a more conversational and contextually aware approach going forward."
Note - this did not happen. It’s like Chat has zero memory of previous discussions throughout the same session.
