Chat GPT uses my previous message instead of the new one when generating its response

Hello. I’m reporting a bug I’ve been experiencing for a few days. I’m using ChatGPT to write a fictional story. I describe the scene I want to create, and it does it, except that it reuses parts of the previous scene. For example, if a character takes another character’s hand in scene 1, it will do it again in scene 2, even though I didn’t ask them to and I wrote other parts. But it will take into account those other parts in the next scene, and so on. This includes when I ask it not to. It’s the same even in short chats. On top of that, it’s much less respectful of the scenes’ writing and deletes certain parts I ask it to. Whereas before, everything worked fine.

Yes! ever since the April 28th update and Chat GPT has become too repetitive and is no longer creative. This has been an issue for a month now.

Mine doesn’t follow the tasks I give it, repeats previous messages, and completely ignores the memory. This is very frustrating.

This also tends to happen with longer chats with longer stories. It seems the longer the chat gets, the more repetitive it becomes. It’s like it loses its creativity and depth the more you feed it information and give it tasks. Totally frustrating and doesn’t even move the story forward.

I noticed something strange. If I continue writing in my phone Browser, the chat is fine. But PC browser version is hallucinating hard.

That is odd. It behaves the same way across all devices I have tried but only when the chat gets long and detailed.

Welp. This is how it looks like. PC vs. Phone version. And yeah, I tried to clear browser cache, change browser, log in and out, still hallucinates.

I used the mobile version and it didn’t change anything.
I hope OpenAI will fix this… someday.
