Charged for file upload that fails

I am noticing that most of my API usage charges come when I am uploading a document to be used for an Assistant’s knowledge base. However, most of the time, I get an error saying that the file could not be added to the Assistant for some reason, and then I have to re-upload it for it to be used. I am still charged for the failed upload. The files are also not listed in my Files tab…

  1. Can we get these credits back?

  2. Why do my uploads keep failing anyway? The files are within the size limit.

The error message is always this:

Make a note of when this happens, make a copy of the log file and send it to sup[port via the bot in the bottom right of and see if they agree that this should be refunded.
