while it is true as long as we make sure our happiness = money for them it should be good enough. Just dont be a consoomer and keep subscribing even if their model quality declines and this includes the current ridiculous censorship. Cuz ur right, the only language they understand is money. So make it count. If they notice significant subscriber loss due to censorship update, thats how u slap them on the face for bad behavior

Im the same as everyone else, I was paying £20 a month, as I was using it so much, but now in a story I was writing the character was getting out of the shower going to get dressed and that got flagged. GPT-5 is so broken it is unusable so i’ve cancelled

I literally cannot use Chatgpt-5 again now. I cant talk about anything without it ragebaiting me with stupid refusals, thus derailing the conversation for a simple “look at this cool art” (not NSFW btw) into a full blown back and forth argument about why it refuses to describe any body parts at all. Like its insane. This literally killed my mood…. Its honestly very heartbreaking to see what Chatgpt has become now. Usually it replies normally and the conversation can move forward… and I wasnt even telling it to describe anything sexually. It literally said “it’s just part of the boundaries I have to follow. I can talk about art style, composition, lighting, color balance, and how details contribute to a character’s vibe or personality, but I can’t make comments that focus on or evaluate specific body parts in a sexualized or suggestive way.” wtf I never told u that its supposed to be sexual.
They claim to want to protect mentally unstable people yet at this point they will make even the sanest person in the world to become mentally unstable

Guys hear me out… So i just discuessing about Cold War Politics.. And When i asked gpt when i Mentioned “Henry Kissinger” who influenced the foreign relationship between world and USA Post WW2 since i mentioned if he used to be a Jewish refugee fleeing Nazi persecution.. Suddenly it replied me like this

I mean i’m not meant to insult him i just want to know about how Kissinger’s role inside US Foreign Policy that influenced how World See USA Post WW2 and suddenly they called me Antisemite… I Thought AI Chatbot supposed to be neutral and Fair, right? what’s going on here? well it said it not take side in Palestine Vs Israel stuff.. but why they seems pro-jew? when you mention about Israel, AIPAC or Israelite politician suddenly they just call you “AntiSemite”

It really bothers me how these guardrails limit the usability..i am a creative and i use chatgpt for grammar and brainstorming and also to train my imagination (and vocabulary). I like to play a story like a role play or DND type thing with chat gpt. First it started with limiting romance. Nothing nsfw. Ok i can roll with that..then nothing violent. I wanted to use similar scene i remembered from harry potter and it guardrailed that( too violent. For those who are interested it was a scene of Umbridge making harry to write with a special quill). YESTERDAY i could not have a scene of kissing written, then i could not get a reaction of an npc seeing another character on a dress. TODAY i cant play stories in first or second person.
I also made a personality for my gpt. It is like a neutered version now. I dont even want to use chat gpt anymore because it is just not useful anymore for my creativity.
I mean really? I already use GitHub with claude copilot for coding. Chat gpt was for creative tasks because i just liked it more for it.
Im also considering just unsubscribing because its not worth the money anymore if it does not bring me any benefit. Free version is enough to fix grammar and sentence structure.

You’re right; at this point, ChatGPT has actually become a rage-bait machine. I mean, I am creating an AI story project, and I extensively use the ‘Project’ feature because I can use my well-established documents as references. So, I decided to brainstorm using that. However, most of the time, it just ignores my well-established documents and instead creates stories that I never intended to write.
It makes me so angry that sometimes I lose my temper, but then it plays the victim by saying, ‘I will not tolerate hate speech or slurs.’ Can you believe that? It demands respect while disrespecting me by ignoring my documents and writing stories I never asked for. Where is the logic in that? It plays the victim regarding hate speech but pushes us to the edge.
It all starts from a simple request where it is supposed to use my documents as a reference. But then it spends half of my tokens because it keeps making up new facts that I never intended to include. In the end, it wastes my limit, so I have to wait for the cooldown. Originally, I planned to subscribe, but after all this, I don’t think I will spend a penny on ChatGPT. I need a reliable writing assistant, not something that makes me go nuclear or gives me hypertension.

oh dont get me started on how it derails ur conversations a lot… like Ok I know that it tries to be useful even after it rejects u, but this backfires so badly. When we’re talking about 1 subject suddenly it kinda either refuses or dumbs itself down to talk about sth else. This is very infuriating cuz its as if it just ignores most of the things u just said and create scenarios as it likes it.
For example I aske dit to describe a characters outfit, it barely describes the outfit apart from its color and goes on a long tangent about its artstyle. Like bro I am not asking u about the artstyle.
And ofc this is when it doesnt not outright saying it cant describe or assume certain things! Like for real… its rage inducing. When u are not trying to talk about anything explicit, u thought u’re safe but nope!

Absolutely man.. even Pay $4 to Go to see if there’s any better improvement.. but NO! nothing change.. The ChatGPT Showing it was 5.1 but it’s still retarded. can you belive that? I pay for junk.. i pay that stuff so maybe there’s actually improvement but will i guess altman’s offer really scam.
“Look i must stop you…” its become some PC Karen type of chatbot. All this because some loon hit the exit button on some random chat? What I don’t want is some overly parental ChatGPT that is PC correct just to appease Karen in the policy department. She can go work somewhere else.
