Hi everyone,
I am looking for urgent assistance or advice from the community and OpenAI staff regarding a sudden deactivation of both my API and personal ChatGPT Plus accounts, which occurred today at 15:27 (Bali time, UTC+8).
My automated appeal through the portal received an instant rejection within seconds (“the original decision stands”), which makes me strongly believe it was a false-positive trigger by an automated system, rather than a human review.
Here are the technical facts of my usage:
-
Request ID: cfe33d63-b34a-406d-8ff2-5044cc6d1f70
-
API Use Case: A small, private Telegram bot used strictly for generating short video scripts (Instagram Reels).
-
Volume: Extremely low volume — only about 200 scripts generated over the course of several months. No heavy traffic or spamming.
-
Content Safety: The system prompted only standard creative layouts. No unsafe content, hate speech, or policy-violating prompts were ever processed. Users were fully aware it was an AI tool.
-
Security: The API key was stored exclusively in environment variables on my secure, private server. It was never exposed or shared.
I have been a loyal, long-term user and a ChatGPT Plus subscriber. This sudden block has completely cut off my access to my personal data and billing.
If any OpenAI staff member or community moderator could look into this Request ID or escalate it for a quick manual review, I would deeply appreciate it. I am completely open to rotating keys or adding extra security layers if needed.
Thank you for your help!
