I am delighted with this series of updates - they are truly impressive. However, I have a concern: when using the GPT model, although longer prompts can be opened and edited in Canvas, the generated responses appear in the chat window. At this point, Canvas switches to article editing mode, but the “Ask ChatGPT” function becomes unavailable. When prompting again in the chat window, the response refreshes the Canvas content and allows access to the Shortcut menu. The logic behind these Canvas operations is difficult to understand, and the interconnected use of Canvas feels redundant and confusing. We suggest that since the goal is to enhance initial prompt editing and functionality, it would make more sense to develop a new inline editor for prompt editing, which could include features such as manual prompt editing, prompt optimizers, or prompt template management. This would be more logical and clearer than using Canvas, as these concepts are inherently different.
