I can’t edit the original prompt in a conversation. Which is weird because you can still edit any other prompt written after the first.
Is this a bug or a feature? If it’s a feature, then it’s a pretty stupid one.

Apparently this happened before, back in like 2023, so it’s probably just a bug (I hope). It might just need time to be fixed.
Edit: I noticed that when you first send a prompt, the edit button for the initial prompt appears for a moment (at least on browser), and if you click on it, it’ll open the edit thing. But it’ll only allow you to edit that one, and it’ll overwrite the previous version completely, rather than allow you to switch between.
Edit #2: According to a message I just got from support, this is a design change and not a bug. I’m hoping support is just misinformed (doubtful) and it goes back to the way it was.

So all threads with first-prompt edits are gone? Are they really leaving it like that!?
Seems like they WERE misinformed, because it is back for me. Check for yourself, I wanna make sure this isn’t just a me thing.
