Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a page that requires HTTP basic auth
  2. Copy password from somewhere
  3. Attempt to paste it into the basic auth form

Expected results:

Password should be pasted

Actual results:

System warning sound plays, nothing happens.

Notes:

Any non-letter/number key also plays warning sound (e.g. delete / backspace / tab)
