You tried signing in as [email redacted] using a password, which is not the authentication method you used during sign up. Try again using the authentication method you used during sign up. (error=identity_provider_mismatch)
I would like to remove “login by google” and use standart login by password. I restored password via email and can not login now. please help

I know that currently, OpenAI does not support changing the authentication method for existing accounts. I mean if you initially signed up using Google authentication, you must continue using that method to access your account.
Resetting your password via email won’t work in this case, as your account is tied to Google’s authentication system.

what if I lose access to the google account? do I also loose access to chatgpt’s?

If you lose access to your Google account and used it to sign in to ChatGPT, you might also lose access to ChatGPT. This happens because your ChatGPT account is linked to how you signed in (like “Continue with Google”).
OpenAI does not support updating the email address associated with ChatGPT/OpenAI account. If you create a new account, over your ChatGPT history cannot be transfered.
You may:
Cancel your subscription: Contact OpenAI support and provide details like your email, the last 4 digits of your payment card, and the date of your last payment.
Delete your account: Request account deletion through OpenAI’s Privacy Request Portal. This also cancels your subscription, but deleting is permanent.
To avoid this problem, set up recovery options for your Google account.
