Can not summarize or analyze uploaded PDF/Xlsx files

I uploaded a PDF and wanted to ask questions about it, but GPT responded that the relevant file was not received.

It used to work earlier.

There were no errors during the upload process, and I’ve tried multiple times.

Faced the same problem on a Plus subscription account, while my friend’s non-subscription account is working fine

I just found fix that worked for me: you just need to send a picture to GPT then it’ll work as it should

I can’t attach links, but this fix was recommended by a user with the nickname mirandazfy

the fix works for me too. thx for your advice. however it’s still annoying to have such bugs.

I just used the free version of GPT and successfully uploaded files. Unfortunately, I ran out of memory, so I decided to purchase the Plus subscription. But now I can’t upload a PDF file, even though it worked in the free version. Honestly, this is really frustrating — these kinds of bugs are so annoying! Everything works in the free version, but not in the paid one. Ugh.
