As recently announced here to include C2PA verification in both API and ChatGPT.

I generated some images in ChatGPT with 5.4 and it doesn’t seem to work.

Based on the official doc, credentials should be present on images generated in ChatGPT, so seeing “No Content Credential” when you verify them isn’t what you’d expect.

I've flagged this to the team to take a closer look. It’s not fully clear yet whether this is:

  • a phased rollout (not all images/models covered yet),
  • something specific to how the image is downloaded/exported,
  • or metadata getting stripped somewhere along the way.
